In May, 2009 I published a book of poetry called Tapestry Weaver. I chose the title Tapestry Weaver because I have often thought of myself as learning things in one context and transferring that knowledge to other, different contexts and, out of that, creating one continuous meshwork called my life. I have always thought of this experience as akin to weaving together different communities.
